Snippets of what I did in the past year.

📖 May: Community College

Not the community college that you are thinking about but the online Community College run by Greg Isenberg+team. It’s about learning to build online communities. The biggest takeaway was that you should think about building a community as concentric circles, not just as channels.

🥾 June: Portland + Portfolio company

25+ different trails in a month!

My activity in Portland

I made TikTok videos for a portfolio company that saw close to 500K views in a month and a half.

🏙️ July: Back in Chicago

I came back to Chicago and rented a new place as we started to go to work twice a week. I now have a fantastic view.

🎉 August: Chi Tech IRL parties

A couple of friends and I started to host regular tech parties for the Chicago tech ecosystem. Read more about us here.

September: M25 Summit

M25 team put together an in-person event for our portfolio companies after the virtual summits due to COVID. It was amazing to see everyone.

🪨 October: Yellowstone

Trip to Yellowstone at the end of the season for more hikes

November: 100 Must-Haves

I wanted to try Amazon's affiliate side hustle around 100 Must-Haves for a niche group or niche activity. I chose 100 products for females periods for my first installment. I purchased 100 items to take pictures and catalog them on a website to take advantage of SEO and TikTok videos.

This idea did not work out.

December: Married!

I went back to India to get married to an amazing person that I met a while back in front of family and friends. I am happy I met him.

January: Time with in-laws

We decided to spend time with my in-laws in India when we were there. We lived with them for a while before coming back to the US.

February: Youtube Videos

My partner and I wanted to make videos to keep our family updated on our shenanigans. We are still trying to find our voice, but we are doing really well.

March: Chicken Pickle

Why aren’t Indian pickles a common condiment in the US?

I have been obsessed with Chicken pickles ever since my partner introduced them. Eventually, I want to see my Chicken Pickle everywhere in the US. I made the chicken pickle several times to perfect the recipe.

April: Badminton

I have played badminton every week since the beginning of the year, and I think I injured my left knee. I can’t walk up or down the stairs properly. I need to heal for a while, so no more badminton.
